This guide was updated and expanded in November of 2017.
This is a two-week literature guide for the book titled Shadow of a Bull, by Maia Wojciechowski. In this book, 11-year-old Manolo, the son of a world famous bull fighter, is afraid of bulls.
The mini-guide contains ten sections that include vocabulary exercises, discussion questions, reading activities, life application/Bible connections, and an answer key.
This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested in using this guide with more than one student, check out the two options:
1) Reproducibles that contain all of the fill-in-the-blank activities:
Mini-Guide for Juniors: Shadow of a Bull Reproducibles
a. When you purchase the reproducibles, you have permission to make a copy for each of your students.
b. An Answer Key is not provided for the reproducibles; the answers for the activities on the reproducibles are found at the end of the mini-guide.
2) Workbook format (there is space for students to write answers):
Mini-Guide for Juniors: Shadow of a Bull Workbook
The content of the interactive guide and the workbook guide is the same.
If you purchase the guide in workbook format, you do not need the reproducibles.
Mini-guides are used in home schools, co-ops, and traditional schools. Click on the link to browse through all of the
