This guide was updated and expanded in August of 2017.
This is a two-week literature guide for the book titled Star of Light. The original book was by Patricia St. John; this mini-guide is for the edition that was revised by Mary Mills.
Read a short, free biography about Patricia St. John – and learn how to distinguish between Patricia St. John’s original writing and the revised books:
An Introduction to Patricia St. John and Her Stories
The mini-guide contains ten sections that include vocabulary exercises, discussion questions, reading activities, life application/Bible connections, and an answer key.
This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested in obtaining reproducibles that contain all of the fill-in-the-blank activities, click on the link:
Mini-Guide for Juniors: Star of Light Reproducibles
1) When you purchase one set of reproducibles, you have permission to make a copy for each of your students.
2) An Answer Key is not provided for the reproducibles; the answers for the activities on the reproducibles are found at the end of the mini-guide.
CNS is working on creating workbooks for some of these interactive guides; the content is the same -- the only difference is that the workbooks contain spaces to write all of the answers. If you are interested in submitting a request to have CNS create a workbook for this guide, contact Chris Roe at: email@example.com
Mini-guides were originally designed for home schoolers; they are also used in schools and co-ops. For more information, check the mini-guide page of the CNS website:
