This is a two-week literature guide for the book titled The Matchlock Gun, by Walter Edmonds. In this book, young Edward protects his family from an Indian attack during one of the French and Indian Wars.
The mini-guide contains ten sections that include vocabulary exercises, discussion questions, reading activities, life application/Bible connections, and an answer key.
This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested in using the guide with more than one student, check out the options:
