Print the given shapes onto colored cardstock and cut out. Students then use a ruler to measure the perimeter of the shapes in inches and centimeters. A color version and black & white version are each included.
I printed the shapes onto the matching colored cardstock to help students identify the correct shape. My students were given a black & white version and colored the shape to match instead..I also differentiated by writing the number of sides each shape had to help as they added the sides for the total perimeter.
An answer key is included.... I measured to the nearest half inch and half centimeter, so that is reflected in the answer key.
There are 3 different sheets with 6 shapes each. I used them as 3 different centers that students rotated through over the course of 3 days, but you can set this center up however you choose!
