Concept: Senior Primary educators will explicitly teach the SHARE values to their students. The students will then share these skills with younger students in the school in buddy class sessions through activity based learning.
Teachers present 5 lessons covering each of the elements of SHARE to Senior Primary students. These explicit teaching lessons can be taught in any order. Corresponding buddy activities should only be done after the specific concept has been taught to the older students.
These skills will be passed on to the younger students either as a culmination of all of the lessons or at the completion of each lesson. This will be done through a choice of specifically designed activities. However, each lesson or activity is not prescriptive and is open to interpretation or modification depending on what resources are available to you and the needs of your students. Each lesson should conclude with a SHARED learning activity which allows for mentoring to build strong relationships.
