This 8 page reproducible mini-reader features the color words and the numbers 1-5 in an engaging story! Amy loves fruit and counts them on each page; "I have one red apple. I have two yellow bananas. I have three orange oranges. I have four green pears. I have five purple plums." On the final page, she eats all of the fruit and ends up with no more!

This title features a repeated, predictable text highlighting the sight words "I" and "have" along with the names of colors and fruits. A blank version is also included so that students (or the teacher) can write their own version of the story!

The pages are designed to be run back-to-back on the copier, resulting in a complete book using only two pieces of paper.

The story is available in 3 formats: reproducible student black and white pages, full color teacher pages, and reproducible pages without text to allow students to create their own version.

Two sets of reproducible flash cards are also included! One allows the students to match the numeral with the correct quantity, while a second set of flash cards allows students to put the bowls of fruit in order.
