Here's a self-guided (self-paced) mini-golf course building skills progression that students work autonomously on (with or without partners), giving them ownership over their own learning, and a purpose! There are 8 skills to work on!
PLEASE NOTE: This requires some specific equipment for students to build the mini-golf course with, mainly anything that can be used to create a speed bump/hill, tunnel, bridge, ramp and a bank shot wall.
This frees to the teacher up (they are so engaged!) to help those who need it most. These can work with Plickers magnets (plagnets) assessment system as well to track the learning (or students can also write their initials or similar on a whiteboard to track their progression). I project it on a movie screen, but they can also be printed out. SHAPE America grade level outcomes included in poster.
