Minimal pairs can be used for articulation therapy and
to support phonemic awareness skills. This set includes three different activities for T/S.
Say and Sort:
Make flip books in therapy and send home for say and color practice. Kids cut and sort 10 pictures and paste them under the appropriate phoneme.
Say and Dab:
Say and feel the position of the initial sound. Dab the letter that represents the sound.
What Did You Hear?
Show students how their speech is perceived. Let them read the picture list to you, write down what you hear and compare. Can also be used in reverse to see if they can identify the sound difference.
