Description
This interactive book works on reduction of the phonological process of Deaffrication in a fun and silly way. This book uses minimal pairs and silly pictures to teach students that substituting one sound of the word changes the meaning.
There are 8 targets/pages in this interactive book. The pages can be assembled in any order you decide.
Read the silly sentences to your student and ask him if that sentence makes sense (“I feel silly in the winter. Does that make sense?”) Have him choose the minimal pair word that corrects the sentence from the choices on the right side of the book. Your student can practice saying the word at the single word level “chilly” or at the sentence level “No! I feel chilly in the winter!”
