This activity can be a learning tool, review activity, or enrichment / extension activity for students who need an additional challenge. Use the 10 blank one-pagers to review key topics in chapters 6-7 of the Northern Lights curriculum for Minnesota history. Ch. 6 is "The Land Changes Hands" and details the process that the United State government used to take the land of Minnesota from the indigenous people living there. Ch. 7 is "Minnesota's Newcomers" and details some of the first, influential Minnesotans, the process of the state moving from a territory into statehood, and patterns of immigration.
