Product Description
This independent worksheet will help students understand the other minority movements during the 1960s and 1970s that were sparked due to African Americans obtaining more rights. Topics discussed: The Chicano Movement, Chicano mural movement, Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, AIM (American Indian Movement), Wounded Knee, Women's Liberation Movement, Betty Freidan's The Feminine Mystique, the National Organization for Women, etc.

This worksheet includes reading comprehension passages and also 8 multiple choice questions (some with stimuli). This would be best used to recap information you've already taught.

***DISCLAIMER: I work at a Title 1 school with a heavy ESL population, so my resources are geared toward helping them pass the standardized test in Texas (STAAR) -- while the work is high school material, it is especially helpful for lower level learners and ESL populations***
