The following seven-page study guide film packet is used to accompany the George Seaton-directed 1947 Christmas film, Miracle on 34th Street. It can be used in an English or film studies classroom. The first page contains a list of cast and crew and a background and introduction on the film. The second page is a page that allows viewers to jot and take down their own notes in the style of Cornell notes. Pages three, four, five, and six are comprehension questions to guide the viewer on the work's camera movement, characterization, cinematography, conflict, costume design, editing, plot, sound (non-diegetic/background score), story, style, symbolism, and themes. The seventh page contains discussion questions on the work's characterization, sociocultural context, and implied themes.
