This is the worksheet my students do prior to any cooking activity we do. Mis En Place is a french phrase for getting all your materials ready. My students know it as get your "Mess in Place" They know when they hear that, they are to get they kitchen's ready for cooking.
This activity allows them to really dig into the recipe. Gives them directed way to read it and focus their attention on key aspects of the recipe. It also helps them build a shopping list and consider what ingredients we might already have. My students love doing this activity and look for to their weekly cooking.

-After Cooking Review ( helps students think about the meal they cooked and the process)
-Basic Cooking Review Homework- Give students cooking assignments for homework and have their families review their performance.
