Product Description
This product has been updated due to very popular demand! More essays included (for no additional cost!) with updated reflections! All documents are saved as PDF, as well as Word to be edited to reflect your personal classroom or student goals regarding Responsibility.

Students with disrespectful behavior can earn a RESPONSIBILITY essay.

You can choose one of THREE types:

Rewrite Essay: The directions are simple and are at the top for the student to read and follow. They are to rewrite the entirety of the essay and return it to their teacher when finished, allowing them time to reflect on their misbehavior.

Reflection Essay: This essay requires the student to contemplate their actions and reflect in writing what they did, why it was wrong, and why they shouldn't do it again. This essay is helpful for the student that simply shrugs when asked why they misbehaved. Have a repeat offender when it comes to not having their homework? This one usually does the trick! After a day or two of having to do this essay, they may start having a better memory so they won't have to do this in addition to their late work! ;)

Behavior Essay: This can be used for overall, or repeated behavior issues. If the previous two don't work or the same behaviors continue, try this one! It requires an appropriate word count that must be completed by the student before it is turned in. This requires additional time, and thought, on what lead them to working on this additional assignment.

BONUS: I have included my Classroom Dojo reflection essay sheet in this package for free! :)

I have had many teachers over the years use this in their rooms with positive results. Most students who "earn" a Responsibility essay (or a safe, respect, or kindness essay I also have) usually do not repeat the behavior because they do not want to write the essay again.
