    Description

Working on finding missing interior and exterior angles in triangles with your geometry students (in class or with distance learning)? Check out this bundle of 4 different digital activities to use in your classroom! Includes 1 set of digital Boom Cards with instant feedback and 3 different editable activities for Google Drive that are set up to be graded automatically.

Boom Cards and Google Drive activities are great for e-learning or in person! Students LOVE getting immediate feedback on their answers and teachers love spending less time grading! Check out the links in the preview of the Boom Cards for more information on how they work and how to get started using them in your classroom. The downloads for the Google Forms activities also include detailed instructions on how to use the activities.

Students will use the Triangle Sum Theorem and the Exterior Angles Theorem to find missing interior and exterior angles of triangles. The activities include isosceles and equilateral triangles, word problems, and problems where equations must be set up to solve for. You will be able to hide or delete any questions you do not want students to see. Each product will include detailed directions for assigning to students through Boom Learning or in your Google Classroom.

    The following activities are included:

Angles of Triangles Boom Cards (self-grading digital task cards)

Angles of Triangles Activity for Google Drive (Triangle Sum, Exterior Angle Thm)

Triangle Sum Theorem Activity for Google Drive

Exterior Angles Theorem Activity for Google Drive

Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
