This set of 42 task cards provides students independent or partner practice with identifying numbers that come before, between, and after. The math skills involved with this activity meet Utah Common Core math standards for Understanding Place Value 2.NBT. Students place a colored disc on numbers on a "hundred board" to show the number sequence they see on the selected task card. The number(s) not covered are then written on the card and then onto their answer sheet. Younger students can practice the easier sequences using a 1-20 number chart.
