As a Title I Math Specialist, I work with all grade levels (K-5th) every day. I use these "I can..." objective strips in a stand-up table chart. When students come to see me, all the objectives for the day are right in front of them and ready to go for a quick focus discussion.
I recommend that you print out the objective strips on card stock. Laminate each page then cut the strips apart on the dark dotted lines. (The light dotted lines show where to fold a strip when the objective is too long to fit on one strip.) I punch a hole in the upper left corner then put the strips on a binder ring that I hang on a Command Hook near the table where the children start out each day.
