Looking for something a little different in your cell division unit? This activity asks students to create a graph of a data set related to the cell cycle and then answer questions about that data set. Students are asked to identify trends in the data and determine where on the graph the phases of the cell cycle would take place. Also contains a simple graphic organizer for the phases of the cell cycle.
This activity can be done as a "paper and pencil" activity or, should you be one of the many teachers working in a 1:1 laptop/chromebook environment, as a computer based activity using either Google Docs or Microsoft Office. Directions are included for both classroom styles!
