Mix it, Match It! is an interactive game. The teacher mixes up all the questions and answers that are on separate cards and gives each student one card. Students must then find their match!
Directions for students:
1. Read the card.
2. Decide if the card has a question or an answer.
3. If you have a question, you will need to find the person with the correct answer. If you have an answer, you need to find the person with the correct question.
4. After everyone has found their match, we will check to see if you are right.
5. Get up and find your match!
After everyone has found their match, go around the room and ask each partner group to have the question holder to read the question and the answer holder read the answer. The class should vote on whether it is a match.
These cards review plot elements of plot, setting, characters, exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution and theme. There are 10 questions and 10 answers for a total of 20 cards. The cards are ready to print in black/ white AND color so you can decide on which ink to use. :)
Before you cut the cards up, you will notice that the questions and matching answers are side by side so keep a copy as an answer key! :)
Thanks & Enjoy!
