Oh, no! The laundry is in a mess! The socks are all mixed up! They can only be matched by counting the coins on the socks and matching them to the sock with the correct value! The cute stick kids from "ScrappinDoodle" are here to help your class have fun practicing their money counting skills! There are different ways that this game can be played. It can be used by a few children as a matching game in a math center. It can be used as a whole class game by mounting the game boards in the front of the class and letting children take turns finding the matches. It can also be played like the game of “Fish”. Pass out five cards per player. They ask another player for the card that matches one
of the ones in their hand. If that player doesn’t have that card, the player must take a card from the stack. They put their matches in the laundry basket on their play mat. You could also have the children add up their coin values and the highest total wins.
