Product Description
Fraction game where students match improper fractions to mixed numbers in order to solve funny riddles.

Converting mixed numbers to improper fractions and improper fractions to mixed numbers is an important skill that needs to be practiced quite a bit before becoming second nature. This activity provides an interactive, multi-sensory way for students to work together to solve the riddles by matching the equivalent fractions on letter cards.

This high-interest activity is great for:
• math centers
• extra practice and homework
• beginning of the year review
• remediation
• sub plans

**Update** Some teachers have said that the occasional student has figured out the solution to the riddles by using the letters rather than matching the fractions. One way around this is to give students just the letter cards first, then provide the question worksheet once they have all the solutions correct. This keeps the focus on matching the fractional amounts!
