This set of 32 mixed number and improper fractions on a number line task cards are great for building number sense with mixed numbers. Each card contains the pictorial representation of a mixed number that students are first asked to read and then write on a recording page or dry-erase board. Then students are asked to choose the correct location on the number line for that mixed number. I use these as a math center but they would be great for test review practice, small group practice, and even seat work or as an assessment. The download also contains an answer sheet for all the task cards in the format of the recording sheet being filled in.
