Product Description

A set of 8 worksheets and a quiz on converting improper fractions to mixed numbers, designed for fourth grade level. Begins with a visual approach, then teaches the division method. Shares some questions with the fifth / sixth grade set, but spends more time with visual models, has larger font and pictures, and only teaches conversion from improper fractions to mixed numbers (not the other way around).

Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.

I created this to use with my tutoring students; if they're having difficulty with or haven't learned how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers, these worksheets always give them the practice they need to become successful with the concept!
