This set of task cards includes 24 open-ended answer cards and 24 with multiple-choice style cards. They are the same cards just different answer styles. It also includes an answer key. I use these in my classroom to prepare the students for state testing (STAAR) and for reviewing the concepts that have been taught. Task cards are so versatile- you can use them in small groups, one-on-one, projecting the problems in whole group setting, scavenger hunts, scoot type lessons, centers/stations, etc.
These task cards I made for my third grade class but these are a good review for 4th as well as 5th grade.
The task cards are black and white (printer/copier friendly).
The students show their answers on lined paper that THEY fold into twelve sections or construction paper. We create a lot of foldables in my classroom to document student work.
I also have created Division, Multiplication, Patterns, and Perimeter task cards.
The cards are aligned to TEKS based standards in Texas for STAAR preparation and can also be used for Common Core practice.
