My students LOVE to play these games! These are word plot games that contain mixed short vowel words. Two vowels are paired together per game. [a-e;a-o;a-i;a-u;e-i;e-o;e-u;i-o;i-u; o-u] The last game contains all the short vowels.
Student rolls two dice (one has 1,2,3,4,5 and Free space; the other has A,B,C,D,E, and Free space. I make my own dice by using foam cubes and circular stickers.) Student reads and crosses off the word that is on that plot spot. When student has five in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonal, they receive a small sticker for that line. Student who has the most stickers at the end of the game wins.
