Introduce persuasive writing with Mo Willems' pigeon books using this fun writing activity! Student's will write in Mo Willems' style in no time while writing with correct organization, using main idea with supporting details, and having fun! This is a differentiated product with different organizers and lined writing to meet the needs of all of your students.
How to Use
Students will first write down ideas for their main idea either from their own minds or from the list of ideas I provide. Then students will fill in their graphic organizer to keep their idea organized and to make them think about their writing in a meaningful way. Next students will map out each page of their writing with a new graphic organizer. Finally, students will write in a word bubble book and try to persuade their readers to give them something or let them do something just like Mo Willems' pigeon. This writing set will have your students excited about writing and ignite their creative writing juices!
