This project provides a hands-on, verbal way to explore the debates that were carried out at the Constitutional Convention.
Students will research delegates who represented the states and explore their stances on state representation, how slaves should be counted, and how the president should be elected. They will compile short answers and written responses that will help guide them, as they take on the role of that delegate in a mock-debate.
