On September 21, 1792, the French monarchy was abolished and King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette were arrested on charges of high treason to the revolution. Marie’s two-day trial began on October 2, 1793. Marie stood with dignity before the council as they read the charges against her. If found guilty the punishment was death by beheading.
You will take on the role of the Revolutionary Tribunal and weigh the evidence against her. Will you find Marie to be a traitor to the French Revolution or set her free? The choice is yours.
