Although I made this for my 4th graders, it should be suitable for any grade that has been introduced to and practiced modal auxiliaries.
The game is called Mustache Modals because it has a mustache theme'. The graphics on the cover and game board are glitter graphics, which tend to make the graphics 'pop' on the board. Click on the preview button above to get a better idea of what is included.
In this game, students will draw a card with a sentence on it. They will read the card and identify the modal auxiliary verb. The students will then be checked by a friend using the answer key, and then follow the directions to move around the board.
This game works perfectly as a file folder game. It comes with a cute themed cover, game board, 36 sentence cards, directions, and an answer key.
Your kids will have super fun playing this mustache themed modal auxiliary verb game! It will make for a fun cooperative learning literacy center.
