Modeling Decimal Division
This was designed after the release of Texas STAAR 2015 & 2016 questions were released for TEKS 5.3F. These are designed to help students understand models for decimal division.

Students will shade decimal models and divide them into equal groups to determine the quotient.
5.3F Represent quotients of decimals to the hundredths, up to four-digit dividends and two-digit whole number divisors, using objects and pictorial models, including area models.
5.NBT.6 Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
