This a fun and effective way to simulate evolution in your classroom. "Modeling Evolution: The Charlie Shuffle" is one of my favorite things to do with my classroom during our evolution unit.
This is a two page activity in which students shuffle cards and record their data to simulate evolution. There are 9 analysis questions for followup.
It is very easy to use and does not require any fancy materials- all you need is a piece of paper and a timing device. Students love it!
