This project has 4 pages.
page 1 gives data on the cases/deaths due to ebola. Students are asked to model both and find an appropriate function. [table to graph/function]
page 2 asks students to analyze the rate of change of the cases/deaths and find an appropriate derivative function. [approximate rate of change using slope in table, make graph/function]
page 3 asks students to consider an equation for the growth and use derivative analysis (increasing/decreasing concavity extremes) to answer questions about fighting the disease. [similar to multiple part AP free response questions]
page 4 has interesting graphs
page 5-7 are answer keys for pages 1-3
