Your students practice modeling with quadratic functions using mostly real-world situations and functions. Two single-page editable Microsoft Word (with MathType) documents, each with two “word problems” and some scaffolding questions guiding students through the process. Students determine the appropriate quadratic model and use it to answer additional questions i.e. finding vertex to determine the maximum value or the x-intercept to find the zero. With my scanned (hand-written) answer keys (PDF format).
