This is an additional download that supports the video.
In this webinar, I discuss research, assessment and strategies for working on leisure skill building with students ages pre-k to 6th grade. Video modeling, potential communicative and behavioral targets are discussed, as well as specific modified leisure activities. Professionals will leave this webinar with a wealth of information and ideas to incorporate with their own students, the next day. Let's make leisure fun for all students!

I have also included a workbook that can be printed off and used in your classroom. Do you ever have 15 minutes of unstructured time in your schedule and this is hard for the students. Keep a copy of this workbook in your classroom and let it be your guide.

What are Certification Maintenance Hours (CMHs) and how are they calculated?

A CMH is 60 minutes spent in a professional development activity as a learner and participant. CMHs are accumulated through participation in non-ASHA CEU activities for the purpose of maintaining your CCC.

CMHs are calculated as follows:

3.0 continuing education units (CEUs) = 30 CMHs
1.0 CEU = 10 CMHs
0.1 CEU = 1 CMH
1 quarter hour of academic course work = 10 CMHs
1 semester hour of academic course work = 15 CMHs
