This life science cut and paste activity is modified from the middle school curriculum. It is excellent for special education students who require an alternate or modified curriculum. The cutting and pasting is an excellent way to strengthen fine motor skills.
There are 3 columns making up a chart. Students must cut out each of the adaptations and paste the adaptation under the animal it describes. The three animals are: giraffe, polar bear, and camel.
There are 12 adaptations. One will not be used. At the bottom of the page with the chart, students are asked to write the name of the animal that the adaptation describes (fish).
