This is a 1-page assessment for students in an inclusive science class learning about the water cycle. I used this for my 6th grade students who learn at about a first grade level. They did very well with this.
The assessment has five vocabulary words and students are to circle the correct definition for each word. Each vocabulary word has two options.
A helpful scoring box in the top corner helps with IEP documentation and grading.
This aligns with Maryland reading content standard: 1.D.2.c (Grade 4) Given vocabulary words from a grade-level content unit, student will identify the meanings of the words.
Grade Level Alignment: 6th grade earth and space science
Aligned with Life Science: 1.E.1.a. Describe how water on Earth changes.• Condensation • Precipitation • Evaporation
