This brief mini-lesson is creatively accompanied by an actual Treat of "Grams" and "Atomic mass units". Students will see just how big a mole is and learn why Mole day (October 23rd) is celebrated.
Although the lesson is most appropriately shared on the school day nearest October 23rd, it provides a unique memory aid that helps students to remember the significance of Avogadro's Number and how it relates Grams with AMU, and hence can be shared during any introduction or review of the Mole.
The mini-lesson comes in three sharing formats, Smart noteboook, Powerpoint, and PDF.
You will need to obtain the shareable treat separately.
