Have a punny time this Mole Day with this fun project for your chemistry students! Mole Day is falls on Friday, 10-23 for 2015, so take advantage of the opportunity to let your students be creative.
This project is done outside of class and includes an easy grading rubric that also lets students self-grade. You can do this individually or in pairs. On the 23rd, set up a viewing gallery, have students bring snacks and make it into a party!
Give students .10 moles of aluminum foil to include in their mole project. They can use fabric, clay, etc. to create a mole. Let students bring snacks and make it a great day!
