Product Description
Students will sort mollusks into the two of the largest categories: bivalves and univalves. They will determine why shelling on the Western Gulf Coast of Florida is better than shelling on the Atlantic East Coast of Florida based on the wave energy in each location. Students then have the option of doing an enrichment research project creating a field guide for identifying mollusks in nature. A Venn diagram is part of this assessment.
