Product Description
Engage students in learning more about the tragic events of September 11, 2001 by having them interview an adult about their experiences. Through leading an oral history interview with an adult, students can gain a greater understanding of how 9/11 impacted America and the world as well as how individuals responded to the events of that day. Interviews can serve as a starting point for class discussion on America and the world post-9/11 as well as the War on Terror. The assignment contains directions for how to lead the interview as well as how to compose a post-interview reflection.
Product includes student directions, sample questions for students, rubric, and reflection assignment, with examples of what to do and what not to do.
