Momentum and Collisions Foldable Activity
This is a great matchbox style foldable for students to define the meaning of momentum and how it effects elastic, inelastic, and perfect inelastic collisions. Students will understand momentum and how it relates to collisions and understand what happens when objects collide.

--Completed Matchbox Foldable for teacher instruction (copy front to back and cut the flaps)
Next Generation Science Standard:
PS2.A: Forces and Motion: Momentum is defined for a particular frame of reference; it is the mass times the velocity of the object. If a system interacts with objects outside itself, the total momentum of the system can change; however, any such change is balanced by changes in the momentum of objects outside the system.
