These printables are a great addition to your morning calendar routine to promote active engagement! They could also be used as a calendar centre and are great for any primary FSL class! English teachers have been doing this sort of thing forever - what a great way to reinforce these concepts!
Students will be required to write the year, the month, the day and the date. Followed by a fill-in-the date sentence, prompted by 'yesterday was, today is and tomorrow will be' fill-in-the-blanks. Students will also draw something that has happened that day, circle the season, write how many days they've been in school thus far (including tally marks) and describe the weather with a picture.
There are 16 pages to allow for flexibility between American and Canadian holidays. The pages are NOT labelled by month but the clipart makes it specific to a certain month:
- Valentines's Day
- St. Patrick's Day
- Mother's Day
- Cinco de Mayo
- President's Day
