The following document is in French. It is a Personal Visual French Dictionary for students to use as they learn new sight words and vocabulary. There is an example/model for each letter of the alphabet. Students are encouraged to use the blank space to draw their own words and the lines to write the newly acquired vocabulary.
Along with the title page, each 8 1/2 x 11 page is divided in two so that there are 2 letters on each page. It is designed to be photocopied back to back so as to save on paper. For example, the A and the Z are on the same sheet so that when assembled, the book can be stapled down the middle of the book.
This product can be used in several ways: as a personal dictionary when learning new words, as a centre activity during Daily 5 or other literacy activities, or as a take-home book to share newly acquired vocabulary with family members.
