This Calla Lily lesson can be taught in a flat style with marker on white paper, which will work well with students from ages 4–7. These younger students can use a bit of light grey shading to indicate the folds in the flower. However, the lesson can also be used with ages 8-Adults in a very realistic 3-dimensional style by using colored pencil, chalk pastel, or oil pastel on colored paper.
The lesson includes warm up exercises and information on how to achieve the structure of this beautiful flower. Also included are 10 resource photos of various colors of calla lilies, which will inspire individual creativity with the older students.
