Students spin a set of two spinners 3 times to add bills to their bank. Once they have spun 3 times students count up the value of the bills to determine how much money they have. One spinner has different bills (one, five, ten and twenty) and the other spinner has numbers to show how many of each bill they need to add.
There are 3 different boards with different spinners to help you differentiate. For those students who are still struggling with bill counting, there is a spinner with the numbers 1 and 2. For those who are on track but need more practice, there is a spinner with the numbers 1-4. Those students who need a challenge or enrichment can use the board with a spinner that has the numbers 1-10.
Students can record the bills they spin in a notebook, on paper, dry erase boards, or they can use the board provided to organize the coins they have spun. Just laminate the page and have students use dry-erase markers.
These games would also be great to print and send home for extra practice.
