This math activity is a version of the classic "battle" card game involving money.
Students will deal out the cards evenly between themselves and their partner(s).
They will lay down a card (face up), count the money on their card, and determine who has the highest amount.
The activity includes a recording sheet for students to keep track of the game. There are two versions of the recording sheet: one for two-person play, and one for three-person play.
Print money cards on card stock (and laminate if possible). Students will need one set of cards per group of students. Print and copy one recording sheet for each student playing. *Students may need more copies of the recording sheet depending on how long the game lasts.*
