This Money game is huge. There are three sets of games enabling you to differentiate your instruction with your students. The Common Core does not specifically introduce money until second grade. However, the Core Knowledge Sequence provides guidelines for introducing children in preschool, Kindergarten, and grade 1 to money. It's just common sense. Children in Pre-K and K and 1 enjoy learning about money and they need to be able to identify coins and know their value prior to grade 2 when they will be required to solve word problems with money. This game set provides opportunities for children to name the coins, identify their value, and a third set to combine coins together to values up to 19 cents. This game can be used as a class game, small group math instruction, or at a center for additional practice.
