This pack can be used for review, practice, remediation, or as a pre or post-assessment for your money unit. The pack has 2 sets of a money bingo game. I have provided directions for each version of the bingo game sets but feel free to use however you wish.
I have provided multiple versions of the bingo boards to add variety and differentiation to the game.Depending on your learning objective, you can use the bingo games in whole class or small group. It is an excellent addition to your math tubs or as a math center.
You can also check out a sample of the product.
The first money bingo game set:
- has 7 bingo boards.
- can be used as a pre assessment/ post-assessment, review, practice or remediation.
-This set focuses on identification of coins & their amounts (1, 5, 10, 25 cents).
-The best way to play the game is to use coins as the marker. Teachers says the coin amount (ex: 25 cents) and the student will put a quarter on the spot that is 25 cents. This will show the students understanding of identifying the correct coin & matching it to the correct amount.
-For students who are demonstrating mastery of identifying coins and amounts, you can work on making the amounts using coins. The teacher calls out the amounts to make (ex: 10 cents) and then the student will show how to make the amount using coins provided (ex: student can put a dime on the spot with 10 cents or two nickels or ten pennies to show they can use the coins to make amounts). This version is more application based.
The second set of bingo boards has only 5 game boards and it has the amounts ranging from 1-99 cents. The directions are similar to the first set, except now students are no longer only focusing on identifying coins and amounts, rather they now have to make the amount that you call out using coins.
Thank you for purchasing. I hope you find this pack useful. Any feedback and ratings is greatly appreciated. Enjoy!
