Product Description
Practice money skills while "buying" the parts to build your own snowman. In Money - Build a Snowman by the2teachers you will receive 29 pages to practice money in a fun and engaging way. Please take the time to look at the thumbnails and preview to get a good understanding of what is contained in this product.

This product was designed to provide students with additional practice with money, adding money and finding change. It is done within a fun and hands-on craftivity. All money amounts are to the dollar, $.25, or $.50 within $5.00. The product has snowman parts. Each part has a price tag with a money amount attached to it. Students have $5.00 to purchase snowman parts and construct a snowman. Included is an inventory sheet where students record the snowman parts used, the quantity and the amount. They are required to total up the cost and find how much money remains. The snowman can be glued together to make a final product. When hung together, the snowmen make a colorful display or bulletin board. *Please note: the money in this product is in U.S. denominations.

- snowballs (2 sizes)
- noses (carrot and black circle)
- arms (stick and straight)
- earmuffs (blue/white and red/green)
- buttons (red, blue and green)
- eyes (small black and larger black with white center)
- mouths (full smile, half smile and dotted smile)
- mittens (green/white and blue/white)
- scarves (red/white and turquoise/white)

The graphics print in color. The product can be made in full color. The graphics also print clearly in gray scale (if you do not have access to a colored printer). The product can be made in black and white. If you choose, students can color the snowman parts if you print in gray scale. This would allow students to still add color to their craftivity, while allowing you to save on ink.

Included in this product are 2 (two) bonus worksheets. The first has money amounts and a pictures of snowman parts. Students have to subtract to find out how much money is leftover. Essentially, this is practice with making change within $5.00. The second, practices adding two snowman parts (with price tags). Essentially, this is practice with adding dollar/coin amounts within $5.00. You also get two bonus posters. One shows common U.S. Bills and the other has common U.S. Coins. See the preview to see which bills and coins are included.
