I created this board game to play with my 3rd-grade class for a Social Studies lesson. Before the game, we read and discussed income and savings. I let the students play for 30 minutes, then we discussed, as a class, why they believed having savings was important. My students loved this game and I hope yours do too!
During the game, students earn money and make choices about spending their income on needs and wants.
Instructions for the game, but feel free to modify them or create your own!
